Rory Beil Cass Clay Healthy People Initiative Director Rory heads up DMF's initiative to promote healthy eating and active living to reduce the incidence of chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. He has a background in exercise and sports science. Rory joined the Foundation in 2009.

David Gibb Director of Finance David is responsible for the finance and accounting functions of DMF and Impact Foundation. He provides support to the board of directors and management for investment functions. David joined the Foundation in 2002.

Bev Gravdahl, BSN, RN, FCNS Healthy Steps Outreach Manager Bev serves as the statewide project manager of the ND Healthy Steps Program, a federal and state funded program providing comprehensive health care coverage to eligible children birth to age 19. She coordinates outreach efforts with schools, faith communities, hospitals, clinics, child care centers, public health units, shelter communities, special events and conferences. She has practiced as a Registered Nurse in a variety of specialties, some of which include School, Public Health and Faith Community Nursing. Bev joined the Foundation in 2011.

Kim Palm Grants Assistant Kim is the initial point of community contact for DMF, Impact Foundation, and the Alex Stern Family Foundation. She provides support to the initiative, responsive, match, and scholarship grant programs as well as various committees. Kim is responsible for website maintenance and coordination of website revisions. Kim joined the Foundation in 2001.

Jeana Peinovich Lend A Hand Initiative Director Jeana is responsible for DMF's Lend A Hand Initiative, which supports volunteer efforts to raise funds for individuals and families experiencing a medical crisis. Prior to launching the Lend A Hand program in 2008, Jeana served as the Outreach Coordinator for DMF's Covering Kids & Families Initiative. Jeana joined the Foundation in 2003.

Tami Rust Strategic Communications Director Tami develops communications plans, messaging platforms and marketing tools that build community awareness and advance health innovation and change. Her focus is building results for DMF initiatives that improve child mental health, reduce obesity, provide coverage for uninsured children and other programs that strengthen the health and wellness of the region. Tami joined the Foundation in 2011.

Jennifer Thompson, J.D. Director of Development Jennifer is responsible for DMF's named funds, employee/member match, and Giving Hearts Day grant programs. She also writes grants and coordinates the Foundation's fundraising efforts. Additionally, Jennifer assists with the management of the Impact Foundation GiveBack website (www.impactgiveback.org). Jennifer joined the Foundation in 2002.

J. Patrick Traynor, J.D. President Pat plans, supervises, and directs Foundation operations under the general direction of the board of directors utilizing the Carver Model of Board Governance. He serves as an ex-officio, non-voting member of the DMF board of directors. He also serves as Executive Director of Impact Foundation and previously served as the Executive Director and CEO of the ND Workers Compensation Bureau and practiced law in Fargo, ND. Pat joined the Foundation in 2000.

Deb Watne Grants Director Deb manages the Foundation's initiative, responsive, match, and scholarship grant programs. She is responsible for grant investigation, grant management, performance monitoring, and outcome evaluation. In addition, Deb manages DMF's website and develops the annual report. Deb joined the Foundation in 1995.

Executive Assistant - position is open This position provides support to the president, board of directors, committees, members, initiatives, and special projects/events, manages the donor services and information services programs for DMF and Impact Foundation, provides administrative services for Impact Foundation and is responsible for the daily operation of the overall office.
