Charitable Funds
Dakota Medical Foundation Charitable Funds allow the donor to establish a fund or account at the Foundation and recommend grants from their fund to qualified charitable organizations. The recommentdations are non-binding; however, the Foundation gives each recommendation full consideration, provided that the suggested recipient is eligible to receive such a grant.
All Charitable Funds established at DMF support programs and initiatives designed to make a significant impact in improving health and access to healthcare services within DMF's service area.
The Foundation oversees all administration of the fund, allowing donors to focus their efforts on implementing a more effective charitable strategy that will produce greater impact. At this time, it is the Foundation's practice not to charge any expenses to administer these funds other than the direct costs of investment management services.
On an annual basis, the Foundation board approves a matching program for new and existing charitable funds. The amount of match dollars available is determined on a year-to-year basis.
